An RA-5C Photo-Recon Vigilante from VAH-3 is out for CarQuals aboard USS Coral Sea CVA-43 off the California coast.
Note the JBD at the time was not strong enough for the Vigi in afterburner so CAT #2 was used with the JBD down.

Very rare appearance of an RA-5C Vigilante from RVAH-3. Coral Sea never operated detachments of this plane.
These two are getting some CARQUAL time off the coast of California.

Ah, a G3 ?
Very nice weapon, although I preferred the L1A1 SLR (British FN FAL). But both would really f**k up a d*ckwit more than the current kiddy guns !

Aye, the Swedish license of the Heckler & Koch(?) G3, with a few changes....

This one?

....and true, both would mess you up and experience a....eeerrmmmm....somewhat significant emotional event!

Yep, that's the one.
Our's were semi-auto only, but when a target was hit, even with one round, it stayed hit !!
In all the years of using the SLR I only ever had one stoppage, and that was due to a defective round.

The same with my AK4, never had a stoppage once!

When it comes to the final destination of your messengers of peace, bullets, you want to take out your target not tickle it!

Brit jeep carrier HMS Stalker is arriving at port piers in Casablanca, 18 March 1943. After building on the US West Coast,
this was her first convoy East and was employed as an aircraft ferry. This view is as seen by J.R. Eyerman, LIFE magazine,
who was aboard both USS Jeffers (DD-621) and USS Chemung (AO-30). Used for educational and non-commercial purpose.
