Nakajima C3N1

New type to my eyes, I thought at first it was a mislabeled picture of a Mitsubishi B5M torpedo bomber, but its not. Rare type with only 2 completed, and both used operationally in Chine.
Learned something already today! Now I won't feel so guilty about taking a nap! Thanks for posting it!

A new one for me and a new fave. I may have seen shots of this plane before without giving it a second look. I probably thought it was a Val. "Zero-itis"?

Thanks! I didn't notice the model wording.

I asumed that was the C3N model as we were talking about it.

I guess the B5M was the competition of the B5N for a new torpedo bomber. No doubt why the Nakajima won.

Top shot is USAAF A-24B Makin Island 13 Dec 1943. You sure do not hear much of anything about USAAF A-24 in combat, but they were there.
