sorry I've had it on several hard drives for over 20 years and have lost that information

Bugga. I did not know any of those survived so was hoping to get a direct link to it.

I found the attachment at Northrop N-3PB Nomad - Wikipedia and this at http://www.thescale.info/news/publish/printer_N-3PB_photos.shtml. There is a later grab of that page but on my computer it would only display the captions.

There may be more at www.rafweb.org but I do not have time to check today.

In 1962 while I was going through reciprocating engine training, while sitting in the cockpit of the A4D each student was taught how to scan the instrument panel for engine start problems. The instructor could cause any one of the intruments to fail, on my go at it the oil pressure gauge showed zero at start up and me yelling no oil pressure shut the engine down quickly. That was the largest engine I ever sat behind now its a Hyundai Elantra....sigh

Ryan YO-51 Dragon fly,

An article in a Ryan company newsletter reported that during one takeoff, the YO-51 "leaped into the air after a run of only 50 feet, pointed its nose at a 60-degree angle, rose almost vertically and remained virtually motionless over the airport."
