The airplane was an Aeronca and it survives to this day.While 2 other civilian planes were shot out of the sky, she made it thru' the strafing & landed her plane.
Wouldn't it be yellow (or at least have a yellow circle P) and above her knees? Perhaps it does-there's no view of her backside.She is wearing the prototype mini skirt
I believe so as engine vibration affected gun harmonicsGiven the "chocks" and massive tail stand and tail diagonal bracing am I right in guessing they will run the engine to check the synchronising system?
Scrapped!Lancaster III ND759, one of fourteen aircraft whose mission was to attack factories in Friedrichshafen on 27th / 28th April 1944.
The Lancaster ditched on Lake Constance, Switzerland. It was to stay there until 1954 when it was recovered. It was scrapped
a year later.
