Yes folks, regardless of the debate surrounding Galland's famous quote about wanting Spitfires to win the battle of Britain, one thing is certain. Messerschmitt AG decided it would at least be worth trying to wed a captured Spitfire to a Daimler Benz DB engine/nose and spinner. Sadly there is no data available for this bizarre prototype, but i think we can all agree it was a very bad idea indeed. View attachment 360707
