Okay this one is a video and on both my computers it displays with the XY ratio butchered for some unknown reason but for those who fly regularly this is worth watching. It is a busy little place tho I suspect ops start and sunrise for a short time and again near dusk for a short time.

Treacherous area, but it beats walking
The Tenzing-Hilary airport was built by Hilary and is the starting point for Everest climbers. It is in Lokla in Nepal. It is perhaps the most dangerous airport in the world where there have been many accidents. The airport is subject to high winds and rain while it may be sunny in Kathmandu.

Lukla, a guy I know used to fly in and out of Lukla, he was a flying instructor and spent two years in Nepal. He posts videos on Youtube of his adventures.
