An early PBM-3 actually. The tail turret has a single gun and under it there is this "beak" (I call it), not seen on later 3C/D models.

Note the opening in the fuselage above the mats: earlier PBM-3 had tunnel guns as well.

As I was scrolling down the page, the Botha was coming into view. As I neared the bottom of the picture, I thought for one brief, unholy moment that it was on floats. Like it needed another excuse to not fly .....
My relief was ... profound
