The "strange" planes in the background are very interesting, no doubt. I think the 2 in the far right are not O-47 but some Harvard/Texan derivatives (check the form of the tail).
But there is something more interesting for me: The B-25H-1 s/n 43-4105 is the FIRST B-25H manufactured! You can see in the back some darker (camouflaged) B-25H but also some (3) NM-planes. Which means this is not the beginning of the production but somewhere around the midpoint. The No.1 plane was probably used by NAA for tests as was the case with some other variants (don't know the exact story at the moment).And this particular a/c had initially the insignia with the red border:

To me everything except the main gears says Navion.

I wonder where the jack points are on that type?

If inboard that may be a trestle support for doing gear swings.

I think I found another photo from the same period as the above one in my archive. This time in colour and we can see that the a/c in the background (same as on the initial photo) are SBD in a tri-colour camo-scheme. The NM-Mitchells are B-25H-5.

The captured Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6/trop, WNr. 16 416, in USAAF colors. The fighter was captured by American soldiers on 8th May 1943 at Soliman airfield. Originally it belonged to the 4. Staffel of JG 77.
The aircraft was dis-assembled, shipped to the U.S.A., re-assembled by the North Amerian Aircraft company, and subsequently flown to Wright Airfield.

It's not a radial. You can see the U shaped header tank of the Bf-109.

I agree it is no a Radial engine, I want to say a Navion but the timing is wrong, I think the picture dates from late 1943 to early 1944, and I don't think they cut metal on a civilian progect in that time frame.
It looks to large for it to be a BF109, a BF 108 Possibly? If it has a Prop mounted its only a 2 bladed prop. Interesting, but with the quality of the photo I don't think we will be able to get a positive ID.

Bf-108 landing gear is vertical when extended.

I also don't believe there is a prop on the aircraft. Looks like a post coming up from the little shack (light gray) and a post or something behind the aircraft (dark upper portion).

There are no trials with Bf 109 and radial engines in USA AFAIK.
