A good picture indeed. However, the Typhoon in question looks a bit worn out - not a factory fresh example. Most probably a repair facility.

Unfinished yes, hardly new. One can look at the circular coolant tank around the propeller shaft. Stains and dents are clearly evident. Engine cowling panel attachment points are worn out too. The radiator is not new either.

The Westland Lysander belonged to the no. 755 NAS FAA, a Telegraphist Air Gunner Training unit coded 6W. Hence the strange looking unit code.
