Ah T-37's Powered by 2 J-69's, as far as I can tell they just convert Dinosaurs into noise. I always wondered if there was any C-310 fuselage parts in those.

They were like power drills on steroids. We had a flight of six at Carswell for pilot proficiency/minimum hours stuff. They were parked on our ramp about 100 yards away from my fire station. They were loud. We could hear them from our bunkrooms well inside the station.

I'm guessing that GTX GTX 's pic was taken at Shepard AFB.

We had to tweets for aircrew profiancy at Robins. I was QA and had to go to Vance AFB for school including ejection seat. The smallest aircraft I had ever delt with was a couple C-130's. I go out to do a QA check one day and they were changing a nose gear tire. No jack, couple of guys go to the back and press down on the horizontal stab and lift the nose up! I just laughed.
