Watching them on final approach, they always looked so slow, virtually about to drop out of the sky.

Wow alot to like on this picture, the A-4's look so small parked between the RA-5 and the A-3. And the one A-3 still in the Blue Paint looks odd to my eyes. The Picture really shows the variate of A/C types the USN operated in the 1950's to the 1980's. On the deck I see A-1's, A-3's, one RA-5, A-6's, F-4's & an S-3.

I've seen a color of this photo. I'm gonna get into trouble here by the A-3 in the photo is painted Flat Black, not blue. It is a RA-3B.
