It's a Libyan Arab Tupolev Tu-22 ( The Libyan Arab Republic Air Force 1969-77 ). The pic was taken in April 1977 before the Federation of Arab Republics was disbanded in the same year. Hence the arab style national markings.

Exactly. I figured this one was much more interesting than a BMF one plus you have a F-4 too boot.

There you go, I looked it up for you. B-52 entered service in 1955 and the Tu-95 a year later.

And at about 100 mph faster and heavier payload, well unlike today, back then Boeing seems to have been able to get things right!
