What is the difference between a F5B and a T-38?

The T-38 is a supersonic jet trainer used by the USAF and other forces. The F-5B is a fighter variant, like the F-5 Freedom Fighter.

It would seem that the poor old F-5B is the least understood aircraft of all time. In Europe they were very common (KLu mainly) and so any two-seater was an F-5B. Yet any time I post a photo of an F-5B I get "that's a T-38!" and then the dialogue above ensues...

The tip tanks are a dead giveaway in this photo: T-38 can't mount them.

There was. At 7:20 am my time I wasn't in the okay mode to cover them all. It's pretty fpr a jet and I am all good. Back to sleep lol

Looks like a Hun from there but I mistakenly identify Mistires for Huns and yes I'm sure I misspelled that.
