Also a short clarification... the name of the training plane was PWS-26 but not PWS-26 Slepak ( "Ślepak" in Polish). A few aircraft of the PWS-26 series was equipped with a foldable , fabric covered conopy of the rear learner's cockpit for trainings at IFR flights ( the second image). For this reason, these planes got the nickname "Ślepak" what can be translated in to English as "blind".
Additionally, Luftwaffe used a couple of captured PWS-26s
