In 1972 I attended an international aviation museums conference hosted by the San Diego Aerospace Museum.

They were restoring a Consolidated PT-3 trainer and one of the team was building a 1/12 scale model at the same time. My apologies for the quality of the scans but 54 year old film that has not been properly cared for does not last well. Note the fuel tank turn-barrels and the fuel cap chain.
