That second shot down of the Swordfish would easily pass off as the real thing

Nice

Jumpin' Jupiter! They DO look real! Even the shape and texture of the skinning on the 'Stringbags' is realistic. Glad to see the 'pilot' carried off a safe, and skilful landing after losing a tyre!
Looking forward to more of that Corsair too. And you're going to tell me the wings deploy by R/C , aren't you?
Wonderful stuff, and thanks for sharing, TT.

Yes Airframes the wings do fold up due to a mechanism that was scratch built by a machinist.some of thes planes aslo have built in engine starters so they can be started remotely simulating an actual aircraft starting on its own and then the wings fold down and lock then taxi to the runway and take off.cool huh. then when they land they taxi back to there spot fold wings and shut the engine down.8)

OK heres that Corsair!Oh and the Swaordfish did not win the scale competition! This should do it !

The Corsairs are a beaut, but what gives them away is the propeller. Even three bladed, it is too small in diameter for scale. But wow anyway!

So did one of the Corsairs win over the Swordfish? I wouldn't have thought so.

Great stuff again, TT, thanks once more!
So far, my vote goes with the Skyraider and Mitchell posted earlier, and the two Swordfish, not neccessarily in that order. The Corsairs are excellent, but not quite as good as those others, although there's not much in it.
Looking forward to more great shots.

The B-17 is in a class by itself and I very much like the cockpit detail of the 109 which approximates the B-17 in attention to detail... which I think, along with excellent build and scale props, separates them from the pack.

I'm mentally calculating the time it took to drip white glue drops with a syringe along all the panel lines to simulate rivets and also looking at the extremely good pilot/crew details. I have seen details of the B-17 in building stage from scratch and it is very impressive.

The Swordfish is also great.
