I didn't get the side floor joint quite right so I have glued a strip of 0.25mm plasticard on the seam and I will sand it down when glue is hard.

Good bit of assembly. Still looking like a potting shed. Think I might add some bracing to the wing fuselage joint, some brass rods to stop the wings flapping.

Fitted a 1.2mm brass rod rear spar to help strengthen the wing join.

I have given the engine pods a first coat of aluminium paint. I am leaving the wings off to make painting easier, beginning to think I should have left the engine pods off as well. There is going to be a lot of fiddly work around the windows.
