This project which is critical for the success of the company has had another setback. A fire in the rear electronics bay of a test aircraft has caused an emergency landing and the use of the evacuation shutes to evacuate the test personnel. The fire caused the failure of the flight deck primary flight displays and auto throttle.

All test flights are grounded until the reason for the fire has been identified and this must cause further delays to the project.

The first plane was duie to be delivered in the first quarter 2011 and I can only hope that this was a one off and not something basic in the design.
