The FMA IA-58 Pucara is a turboprop powered ground attack aircraft which entered service with the Argentine Air Force in 1975.
The Pucara saw action in the 1982 war, and it was the only aircraft with a short enough landing run to be able to land at Port Stanley airfield. The Pucará was also employed by the air forces of Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Uruguay.
The Pucara is armed with 2 x 20mm cannon, 4 x 7.62mm machine guns, and has 3 hardpoints for bombs, rockets, or torpedoes.
