By way of adding to rochie's excellent throw of pictures from Hendon Museum I thought I'd put together a few I've taken myself to add to the list.
Avro Lancaster Bomber
Trying to take pictures in the BOB room was nothing short of hilarious as, as everyone knows, there's b*gg*r all light in there and I didn't have a tripod to do nice long 'bulb' exposures that will even blur out all the punters milling around. (something I used to do a lot with my old SLR film camera). Sill I had ago by leaning on things people (gerr-off!) I suppose if you want to dress them up you can call them 'moody'. (I'll just have to go back with a tripod).
Good old Spit resting in the gloom - amongst others.
Fuel truck
Heinkel He 111
Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4
RAF Pilot (no Axis pilots that I noticed).
Out into some brighter light to add more from other halls later on...
Handley Page Halifax.
Damaged by flak as it attempted to bomb the Tirpitz and skilfully landed by Canadian Pilot Officer Don MacIntyre on the frozen Lake Hoklingen in central Norway, 25 miles east of Trondheim. It was then recovered in 1973.
