Hi. I have a Tamiya 1/48 scale P-51 that I started many years ago. I've had several surgeries and am on restricted activities so I pulled this kit out this week to finish it and noticed the canopy is missing. Would anyone have one or know where I can locate one. It seems like a nice kit, maybe not compared to the latest kits, but still nice. Thanks.

Which canopy. standard or Dallas?Hi. The kit I have only has the standard bubble to option, which is actually the one I'm looking for. Thanks for your reply.

Hi. The kit I have (P3) only has the standard bubbletop option, which is really the one I'm looking for. I've searched Squadron and didn't see what I needed. Thanks.

I have a Dallas sitting on my desk right now. There may be one in the spares box but its buried at the moment. If you wait a bit someone will have one. If not, I'll call in a backhoe and start digging

LOL! I'm building the BBD, so I guess I need the standard. I can set this aside (I started it 20 years ago, what's a few more weeks), and pull something else out I started years ago, maybe the Hasegawa F4-EJ. Thanks.

Don Donivanp Donivanp might have a spare
Thanks Geo😅 and I might, let me look. Which kit?

If you just need the canopy, I'd check eBay or even reach out to Tamiya's support – sometimes they'll send out spare parts if you give them the kit number. Another option is to look for a vacuform replacement canopy, they're usually pretty cheap and easy to fit.
