Not a recent purchase by me but a prezzie from my wife (Christmas and birthday are at the same time). As with the other Spitfire, this one is specifically advertised on Hannants web site as "fillet less tails" and the box art shows that, but it actually has both types and also a choice of external tanks and bombs, and other stuff. I am now pratting about with ways to get a Natural metal finish with brush paints. Any tips anyone?

The postwoman rang thrice. The only other K3M3 available, a Ki-43-I and the beast project. The Wolfpack decals came with the Ki-43-I.

The Japanese one looked appealing. No unit marking on tail, just the white fuselage stripe and hinomarus (which I have loads of).
Cool - if only someone made it in 1/72 then I might give it a shot, or even better 1/48 (the old eyes aren't what they used to be...)

Edit: Just found that Ardpol make it in 1/72 vacform, although it looks like there is zero chance of finding it for sale anywhere. Rare as hens teeth...
