I added these as well. I didn't know they had released these in 1/48 scale. Got all four just in case.

Did you get the 2 full sets in one box or is it one set with the remnants of a second one?
Years ago I purchased an Otaki Bf 109G-6 kit on ebay (when the shipping prices were still "human") and for my greatest surprise I found an additional Bf 109F (Airfix) in the same box! Both sets were complete, missing only the decals of the second one.

Where do I find a 12 step program? I must have a sponsor. I keep having the urge to buy the bag of 24 P39s from Atlantis for $50. About $2 US dollars each. I have found 12 different camouflage versions including, coral, sand, black, and white. Russian, RAF, US, French, RAAF and one other country. Fighter, trainer, target plane pinball, photo recon aggressor in white stripes, and two after the war racers. P39, P400, with bombs and or drop tanks. With 30 cal or 50 gun pods. Where will I put twenty four P39 in 1/48 scale? I may need a recovery program.

I gave up plastic for balsa and now can resist the GBs by switching threads. However, ebay calls with engines, other old fart's estates and balsa kits. Fortunately, just as plastic kits, balsa kits are way too high priced, allowing me to waste my time building from plans. Oh, the misery!

😢 there there, there's a tear for you. Tried balsa kits a few times, always seemed to split the balsa.

Just came in from flying some cheap wind-up balsa wood planes and a glider with mine and the neighbour's kids, plus their grandmother. Planes were all damaged, everyone nearly got hit atleast once, and we all had a ball. The neighbours little girl was running around with her arms out making aeroplane noises. Most fun I've had in ages :)
When I was a youngster my dad and I would get a ladder and go up on the roof and fly rubber band windup balsa planes and gliders off. Fun days spent with my dad. Mom would have a fuss about him having me up on the roof but I was 9 or ten than and he would just say"he's fine, let him be".

In the mid 50s I had a rubber powered Jim Walker stick fuselage, pressed balsa wing, which would just get airborne at the point the rubber ran down.
I put a little jetex 35 at the C/G and after a prop assisted takeoff, had to retrieve from atop the neighborhood laundry.
