Ok Jessie, why is it when you post I see spots for a weeK?
You know I love collecting spots :evil4::evil4:

Nothing spectacular. Masks for current Tamiya P-51B build. I didn't feel like doing notches and angles

Found a site that does masks for the two Accurate Miniature early P-51s that will shortly follow the above. Good news is they are a Canadian company so no exchange and high shipping

Just pre-ordered these two....

In PG today getting new phones and I popped into the place I can get a very limited modelling supplies; I needed some paint. I noticed they had Tamiya Mark Fit. I'm currently building a Tamiya P-51B and the decals are bullet proof. Solvaset doesn't even touch them. I got a bottle of each and test drove them on some Tamiya 1995 decals, on each side of my paint mule. These decals wouldn't even stick to the model. On the left, normal and on the right, super strong

The left side was kind of a shock.....

The right I was quite happy with even though the decal still didn't stick. However, it got the decal to nicely bend over the large rib. There is hope now for Tamiya decals

My meager arrivals. Oak Creek had them for almost eight days on their shelf there. Horrible branch.

The Romans needed reinforcements, as did the Carthaginians.

Now Geo did you apply it to the base before trying to attach? It goes underneath as well as top if needed I did not like how fast if can set I use some.

I even tried it on the Tamiya P-51B decals I'm currently building; on the surface and then on the decal. These decals are also from 1995. They stuck down but nothing in the panel lines. I am out of decal solution options at the moment. VMS makes some and I think AK does as well which I haven't tried. I have heard the Tamiya Super Strong may destroy Cartograf decals

Try some slightly diluted vinegar for the panel line/raised areas, varying the dilution, starting from "neat" vinegar, testing on a "hack" first, before use on a "real" project.
