We'll see what we can dig out when I get it....
You know, it's just occured to me, after all these years! 109 has the right idea, 'planning on adding more over the next couple of years'.
I often buy a kit, ready to work on at some time in the future, as we all probably do. But, the days of kits being on a manufactuter's stock-list indefinitely are long gone, so it's well worth buying one or more of particular models as they are available, the more the better, if you can afford to. That way, you know that you can plan and build what you want/need at virtually anytime in the future. Thanks for the hint, Daniel!
No worries Terry!
That was sorta my plan from when I got into modelling ,I originally only wanted WW11 aircraft in my collection but that soon went to custard when I wanted some of my favourite jets ,Phantom..Mig-21...seahawk...etc. I'm trying to keep it that way and only 1/72 but that also is looking like that will turn to custard as I really want a couple of 1/32 109's mainly because of Wayne (its ok Wayne I don't blame you I blame your amazing modelling skills)
I actually tried making a list a few times of what aircraft I wanted and in what liveries ,quite a hard thing to do.There was actually a time when I wanted only about 10 109's in my collection!
now its somewhere between 50-100 because of all the different variants and fDifferent liveries,Can not believe now that there was a time when I wanted just 1 Me-109 in Winter livery now Hartmann alone will have 2-3 in winter livery
then I tried keeping the entire collection under 100 planes and thats ran out the door now I'm just trying to keep to a budget hence most of my models come from trademe...
so its sorta a lifetime thing....good thing I'm 16 I spose

Good plan there, Daniel! Have you thought about doing a 1/32nd scale from the 21st Century Models range? They're cheap compared to 'normal' kits, about £10 in the U.K., and, from what I've seen and heard, are not too bad. Obviously very basic, but lend themselves to a whole load of scratch-building detail, or even the addition of detailing sets, but keeping the cost down. I've been thinking of trying their '109, just to see what can be done.
