Ordered one of these the other day. I sometimes use a web site to purchase modelling stuff and they have a reward program where one gets points for purchases, writing reviews, submitting photos etc. Well I accumulated enough points to grab this model and it cost me the grand sum of FREE.

Don't know when I will get to her but there is a twin engined group build coming up November 01st 2016 so it may wait until then.

Nice one Jeff.
I'd waited years for a 1/48th scale RAF Ventura, and now have one in the stash to join my 2 Group collection. From what I've read, the props aren't right, but they look good enough to me. Interior detail aft of the cockpit is sparse, but easily added if required, and overall, a nice kit, with nice cockpit and turret detail.
 
Arrived an hour ago, direct from Hannant's - been waiting for a good Do17-Z for years, and it's here !
First impressions - Beauty !
If the swelling and pain in my wrists recedes, I'll try to post an 'in-box' review over the weekend - difficult and painful to type at moment.

Blasted....and bollocks....just pre-ordered Airfix new tool 1/48 Ju 87B-1! What am I gonna do until June next year!?
Wait....their 1/48 F8 Meteor will have arrived by then....phew!!
