A friend of mine went to a 'Everything £1 charity fund-raising sale' and saw this and thought it might be useful for my modelling, so got it for me, for just £1.
It's a brand new, very high quality, solid, stainless steel manicure set, in a hard case.
Eh ? You might think.
Well, the tweezers are of course useful, and that thingamejig to the right of the tweezers will be good for applying putty. But the really useful items are the two sets of clippers, one of them with curved, angled blades, and the curved - end scissors, all extremely handy for cutting fine parts in tight spaces, such as antenna wires.
Oh, and the nail file can be used for getting paint from beneath the finger nails !
He seems to have struck lucky, and it would appear that this particular charity were selling the donated items (all for just £1 each) without knowing their true value, as he picked up a number of valuable items for his market stall, and for himself, including a gold dress ring, which he's had valued at £80 !!!
