Very interesting. Just one question about the bigger wheel set, are these intended to use with larger scale kits? (1/32, 1/24)
Or are these also usable with 1/48th scale kits. i have a few older rivet wheels, which work great for R.A.F. subjects, but their spacing is too dense for Luftwaffe aircraft where the number of rivet's per line seam less. So, what set would be usefull for those? i'm thinking Fw 190, Bf 109, etc...
 
Not sure about the one John has, but I got the Master Tools / Trumpeter version some time ago, which is supplied with four wheels of different 'pitch', allowing use across the scales, or, of course, for different sizes of rivets and spacing. Works very well, although I admit I've only used it a few times.


 
Finally was able to get to Kitchener to pick up this Kijiji purchase. Turns out the actual purchase is for these two versions as opposed to what I posted a few weeks back.



The Swordfish comes with the wire bracing kit and the Betty comes with pre painted canopies which is fine as long as one wants to build Yamamoto's aircraft or that of Vice Admiral Yugaki. These are the only decal options that come with this kit. Still, for $100.00 Cdn, not a bad deal.

....and yet another Red Star, most for the reason it being the ESCI boxing (feeling nostalgic here), they had some cracking boxarts back in the day!
Any idea what version it is of the Su-7?

 
There is a mistake in the first profile . The plane no.926 was the BKL variant while the profile shows the BM sub-type. The aircraft belonged to the 3rd Fighter-Bomber Regiment ( 3PLMB ) in Bydgoszcz where was deliverd in 1972. . And she had the container at the fin/rudder root.
