I ordered this on off of ebay quite a while ago not realizing it was coming from China. When it arrived taking about a month in transit I quarantined it in the garage and forgot about it until a couple of days ago. Looks like a very nice kit and I'm sure a lot nicer than the LTD one I was thinking about picking up (judging by their Boomerang kit I have in the stash) and for only about $10 more than what the old kit was going for.

Looking forward to the build when you get around to it Glenn. I did the LTD Boomerang up until I got to the vac clear parts and then it all went sideways. Its landfill now

Been struggling to use the little Fuji compact digital camera for build shots, due to my knackered hands, and my Nikon DSLRs aren't always convenient when at the bench. So I got this, delivered today, replacing the similar Fuji 'bridge camera' that was stolen a couple of years back.
It's a later version, 12mp with macro and 'super macro', longer zoom etc, used, but in overall good condition, and only £25 with case, usb cable and free shipping, not bad, considering it was over £200 when new.

Thanks chaps. I've now thoroughly cleaned the camera, and checked it over. Everything works as it should, although I need to get some more re-chargeable AA batteries, as ordinary alkaline batteries only last a very short time.
It's very much easier for me to hold and use (as was the previous one), and saves getting out the bigger DSLRs for everyday 'build' shots.

Guys, As I mentioned in a previous post I have not been at the bench in over a year but that hasen't stopped me from picking up a few kits in anticipation of getting back on the bench in my new place next month. I am a bit of Tamiya fan boy.
