As Red 2 is put down as Bf 109G-14AS, but needs to....
....convert the kit into a G-14AS to use kit decals first scheme: Move down the annular circular oil tank hatch (located on the port side of the nose back to the spinner plate, above the first air scoop) and the cold weather starting device circular hatch on the cowling starboard side.
Not as rare as their 08198, which is as rare as rocking horsesh

Just went shopping at Squadron and the discount also lowers the shipping cost. On the other hand, the selection is not a great as I would like. On the other, other hand, I always looked forward to the monthly catalog they sent, 70% is 70%, and I'm gauging my wife's mood as my finger hovers over the "checkout" button.

Stopped shopping there years ago over shipping costs to Canada. Used to be reasonable then it got stupid. Haven't gone back to see if it's changed but why would they.

Yup. Two kits are in the box. You need a telescope to build it. So no worries on my part.

Saw one flying at an airshow back in the 70s and took a lousy picture that I might still have somewhere. Like photographing a fly from 10 feet away.
