Have both, but they are very similar to the DC3/C-47. The Japanese version has enlarged nacelles and larger propellors, as well as extra windows behind the cockpit. The LDD3/4 had a machine gun in the dorsal turret and side machine guns in the fuselage hatches. The side machine guns were not common standard practice.

I have the good replacement for my messed up Phantom from GB65. The kit does have some sentimental value (original was bought in Japan with my daughter) and will probably be done as an "On the Workbench" so there is less geterdone pressure.

Unlike some other people here... I am really trying to only get new kits of planes I MUST have when I NEED to have them. There is a Catalina on EvilBay that is a good price and is what I have in mind for Maritime. It's a year away, so do I pull the trigger now or wait till closer, so I'm still committed in case something else catches my fancy. Cause that happens all the time. Annnnnd cue all the "buy it now"!! :D Just hit the bacon if you think I should buy it now.

Paypal has that thing where you can pay it off in four small lumps.
