Amazing job Vaughan, like the 'greying' idea to heighten the differential colour contrast, just because some colours are said to be only of a certain specific mix, the application of it upon both models and real world objects changes the impression given off by the colour(s) - I think you got the nail bang on by that light fine overspray, im sure realworld A/C don't always have 100% identical paint colours between the same manufacturers and even the same paint batches upon similar blocks of aircraft...
