About to start a Bf109E-3 and wanted to try a mix for RLM02 found on-line. The mix as follows, 1/1/1

• XF22 RLM Grey
• XF23 Light Blue
• XF59 Desert Yellow

To my eye it was too yellow when compared to the Gunze/Mr Color paint (red arrow) which is said to very good. I added another drop of XF22 and came up with this

I guess you ment the RLM 02 ~ FS 36165 rather than the RLM22. The RLM 22 was the schwarz what means just the black.

I was almost sure it's the typo. My favourity colours for the RLM 02 are either the Humbrol 84 ( for the brownish tinge ) or the Humbrol 240 for the more greyish-greeninish tone.

Airfix calls for Humbrol 31 but I believe its too early to use in this cockpit

The Hu 31 is the Slate Grey paint and IMHO it has nothing in common with the RLM02.
