Jul 27, 2011 #2 S stona Major 9,376 3,148 Mar 28, 2009 Here's a seat complete with cushion and the lap belts. Fw190 pilots wore back pack parachutes which would rest on the ledge behind them. The shoulder straps attached to points on the aft upper cockpit armour,above the seat and infront of and below the armoured head rest. Here they are. Finally,in this picture you can see the way the shoulder straps would fall down the seat. Hope this helps Steve
