Week-end passes were an opportunity to get away from the Base for some fun. Piccadilly Circus in London, England was at the head of the list. So our navigator and I headed for London on our first pass to check out the Circus. It took all of 20 minutes to verify it was all they said it was. The young ladies were very aggressive. Enough said.
The place we found to be the most relaxing was Cambridge, England. A small stream, with several portages, meandered through the 20 plus college community. You could rent a canoe up-stream and spend the biggest part of the day floating down the stream. Total relaxation. We did this a number of times. Cambridge also had a great wax museum.
