My uncle owned one back in the day in germany. funny little thing. i have a 71 austin mini . i love the little cars. check out the mico car museum. thay guys got a ton of these. he owns hubba bubba gum co.if i remember right. google it. its worth it.

You could view them as a later day Smart Car. Surprised that they sold them under the Messerschmitt name however; even Mitsubishi sold their cars as Colts until the early 80's to avoid wartime connotations
