The Silver Dart took to the skies today for its first flight , the original was the flown in in Feb 1909 and was the first powered flight in the British Commonwealth the Dart was also the 1st aircraft with ailerons . They did a lot of the construction at the Russell group and was pretty neat watched as it evolved , they moved it to the CWH for final assembly and concrete rwy clear of snow unlike ours

Those first pilots were brave souls! Not much to those old crates!
