Ok, I remember reading as a child in the Soesterberg museum that Fokker even built some planes for the Luftwaffe, of course under pressure. I also have a picture of one of the Fokkers when it was at display in the 90's. So they lost so many Yunkers? That is a huge number of losses, I will pass on the numbers of the yoke to the Stichting you mentioned. Do you think this org. know more too? I really think to keep the item now as it now seems to have a special history + family story. Really thank you a lot for helping, I will post more if I get more news about it.

Yeah, the Fokker G-1 especially was one great machine. The TV was modern, but not well designed. They didn't last the 5 days.
Fokker still produced a smaller version for the G-1 well into 1941. The luftwaffe used them as advanced trainers, especially for Bf110 crew.

I don't know this organisation, but it's worth a try.

The G1 looks very stunning (I think even better than the Black widow P-38), haha when I write P38+) it gets me a smiley, lol). So the T-V was not durable, I am learning a lot of WW2 aviation now, I am more into modern fighter jets, collecting promotional items and now have a WW2 item to make the collection more interesting. I might ask more questions about WW2 planes in other threads.

Little bit off topic, but I examined the bf110 that was shot down near Waddinxveen a little more. This aircraft seems to be the famous kill by sgt. Roos. Sgt Roos was flying escort in a D.21 to the T.V's, among which the 850. He was cornered by two Bf110's and thought he had it. He threw off his canopy and to his surprise it ended up in the propeller of one of the Bf110's. This aircraft Then crashed. Roos was shot down a few minutes later by Dutch artillery. His aircraft was recovered in 1993 and on display at the museum of crash 40-45.

Thought it a nice anecdote to this thread. You live in a famous area, my friend .

Brilliant story! They should make a movie or documentary about these dogfights above this area, it has everything: drama, war, history and even comedy if you look at the canopy story, what a great way to bring down a bogey.

I also read today that around 25 planes crashed in Waddinxveen, btw I am not from this city or area, but my parents were from this area. this forum keeps me coming back for new facts.

The spokes and general shape remind me of a Latecoere 28 steering wheel. On the other hand, the central hub is different but this part on the back seems to be removable because I have a screw at the back.
