What really amazed me were the number of old, ucharted crash sites that were found during the search for Fossett. The last I heard, they found 6 old crash sites.
There was an article in Sunday's (Norfolk) Virginian Pilot that his wife wants

They had a specific area they were looking at, I seem to remember the area not far from the old ghost town of Bodie. My gut said near Lundy, or south and west from there. If you were to draw a line between Lundy Lake and Saddlebag Lake, then draw a circle around that, that would be my search area. Why? I don't know, just a gut feeling.
