RIP and very sad however I thought we are WW2 form. Speaking of crashes, a few weeks ago B-25 "Old Glory" crashed in CA - luckily the three on board survived.

Obviously it's not a WW II subject but maybe worth knowing that there have only been 2 fatal navy crashes this year (I'm reliably informed.) The T-6 incident undoubtedly gets most of its impetus because two women died. Two former USN flight instructor friends speculate that the a/c got too low to recover from a slow flight maneuver...at any rate it seems to fit a frequent pattern.

Rest in Peace.
