Very glad I didn't glue it together, slow going because I can't complete an area in one go but it's going to be worth the effort I think.

Pin wash with oils and enamel thinners, I'm not washing the entire part with the solution but using a fine brush to add it precisely around details

I hope to bring together the Eduard and Tamiya parts so I've painted the engine housing, first rivets etc in black then random panels filled in with white and finally the grey sprayed at high pressure building the colour up very slowly
