I went back and repainted it all black. Not Karl black but a blackier black. No photos....trust me...its black now

Sprayed on a concoction of three Tamiya colours trying to achieve dove status: XF83 Medium Sea grey, XF55 Deck Tan and XF66 Light Grey. I'm happy that the cowl turned out a bit darker.

Thanks all. Just finished the clear coat, deecals, all six of them, tomorrow.

Decals on, all six. Just the lil sticky-outy bits now. Hopefully done tomorrow. Press fit on the prop assembly for a test fit and now fearful I might break something trying to get it off so there it now sits. This was painted three times as Tamiya chose to mold the props with the spinner; very annoying trying to get painted.

I chose to leave the area under the rear of the canopy in the original camo colour. The photos show this as a different colour than the rest of the airframe but this may very well be a lighting effect
