Tempest V in Il2 1946

Try to never ever use AI skill as an example of FM issues in this sim. They NEVER use their aircraft's strengths and are way too predictable.

The Tempest is one of the best aircraft in the sim in the right hands. It's fast as feck and has those 4 hispano cannons. It's not a Spit so don't fly it like one. Under 4,000m it's a wicked-good performer...in the right hands.

6dof makes it really good.

The Sabre is was the most most powerfull piston engine for its power to weight ratio in WWII, and it's still one of the top piston engines nowerdays for that same classification - around 1 ton in weight for reliably upto 3,500 hp by wars end (usual operational hp was considered to be about 2,500)...
