Just find that sequence cringey for some reason, spending too much time with my nose in WWI, WWII etc., books....hard to watch certain movies without picking them apart! 🤨🤔😳😲😆😂

If this movie had been made in the 1950s, I would say its a good addition to your War Movie collection.
Unfortunately its a CGI mess, with unrealistic scenes, and Hollywood over-drama.
The choice of Director tells you all you need to know...Roland Emmerich...who is very good at far fetched science fiction and disaster films.
I'd say its about as good as Red Tails.

As good as Red Tails is a real indictment. Original Midway is better. Also some good youtube vids about the battle giving a very clear timeline by montemayor.
