    Just wondering where we might have been today, if they had continued the Apollo program with the same ferosity, as they did in the 60's....

    On Mars looking at the the satellites of Jupiter as the next step.
    We went from putting a radio beacon weighing a few pounds into low earth orbit to putting 3 men, the lunar lander and the lunar rover on the moon in ten years! He!l another 40 years of that kind of effort and we may have had an outpost on Ganymede !

    And the Royal Mail would take one light year to deliver a First Class letter! Heck, it takes them a week to deliver between two towns in England !!
