I listened to a BBC radio program earlier today about a guy who after Pearl Harbour proposed in a letter to Roosevelt using bats armed with incendiary bombs to attack Japan. By cooling the bats down they could be sent into a state of tau-per and could be loaded into canisters and delivered by bomber at night as the canister warmed up during decent they would a wake and fly into the eves etc of Japanese buildings until at a per-determined time the million or so incendiary devices would detonate and cause a fire storm. Now I know it sounds barmy but Roosevelt actually had a study done to access the feasibility of the Idea.
