The last BoB Hurricane is up for sale on a US website and there is a big chance this veteran will leave Britain for good.

Sole surviving Hurricane plane from Battle of Britain may end up in America | Daily Mail Online

If your a UK resident there is a government e-petition you can sign. we need all the signatures we can get.

Keep the last Battle of Britain Hurricane in the UK - e-petitions

Do your duty and get all your freinds and family to sign as well.

edit:it seems you can sign this if your outside the UK as well not sure if they will be counted but give it a go it may help.

Quite a lot of it is original - the story is fully covered in the book by the owner. From memory, it was one of the aircraft supplied to the Indian Air Force, which ended up at a technical college as an instructional airframe, and was eventually just left to one side.
Whilst it's the last airworthy BoB Hurricane, it isn't the last BoB Hurricane.

Aircraft come and go; there are other Hurricanes, both flying and in museums. Apparently, next year, a flying 109E is to be resident in the U.K., so you have the prospect of seeing the three main Battle of Britain combatants in the air together exactly 75 years after the event.
