It was supposed to be in the high 80's today, but the smoke from Canada is keeping it cool. 55°F/13°C at ground level at the moment, with smoke at 10,000-15,000 ft.
24 hours of rain just ending... it's supposed to pick up again tomorrow afternoon. Very cool her ... was 4C when I was walking the pups this morning. Some higher elevations are getting snow ..... Everyone's keeping an eye on the rivers: it's the 12th anniversary of some serious floods here. On the plus side, the gusty winds are drying out the ground quickly, so a bike ride is plausible for tomorrow morning
13C for most of the day yesterday with strong southerly and near constant rain. Felt more like 5C as the wind was from the direction of
Antarctica. Could be worse though if living down there - Antarctic has reached it's forecast high today of -58C. Don't think it will be melting
in the near future.
Boomers out and about, and it looks like we're in for a direct hit soon. Got up to 93F earlier, but the temp has dropped about 10 degrees in the last fifteen minutes, that's a pretty sure sign.
