Has been delightful here, low 80's, light breezes, sunny skies. I flew yesterday morning and it was perfect. All of the flood waters have yet to recede, but conditions have improved and I may even try to drive a non-4X4 vehicle down the street today.
.

This past and near future Gulf Coast weather is close to perfect. Rare low humidity, 30-35%, allowing painting balsa models with dope. And the glue actually dries the same day. Clear blue skies perfect for full size flying.

-10-10 overcast, we are at about 4,500 ft (1,350m); the cloud level appears to be at about 6,000 ft (1,830 m) by my uncalibrated eyeball. I really need to get markers posted on the side of the mountain. There is a very wet front moving in from the San Francisco Bay region, eta midnight or thereabout so both CalTrans and Nevada DOT have scrapers and sand trucks on standby. Donner Pass might be closed but we'll probably only get mist and maybe slight snow sprinkles. I'm sure some idiots have forgotten how to drive in winter and will manage to cause a few crashes.

That's a given, either never or just forgotten.

Send it north to the Wide Bay Burnett. Mid 30sC and stiff winds here. Dam is evaporating far too quick and the grass is brown only two weeks after 37mm rain,

No wind so a nice spring day.
