Scheduled for 24F-22F by Tuesday & Wednesday nights here on the Gulf coast with freezing rain turning to snow. And me in an all electric house - ain't it great?

The great blizzard of 25 has officially begun. Both bird baths are frozen. It was so cold we had to turn the air conditioner off. The European computer models made 6 simulations and they all showed Houston getting 4 to 6 inches of snow. That would be like 6 feet for people in the north. Prediction is that it will not be as bad as the winter of 21. The rain is not expected this time. I never believe the weather report. The snow start Tuesday. Photo from the snow storm of 24.

It's listed in the app as 37 feels like 26°f it's coming in hard tonight but being south and west of I-10 we're likely to get 1-2" of snow and possibly sleet. Lasting through mid day Wednesday. Oh the deplorable desperation of a "harsh" winter in the south. Oh sorry Jessie and all you folks in Canada and Northern US. Thin blood down here.

It is crazy when is gets cold here despite the number of people that has moved in from the NE. The running gag on the radio is to wrap your pipes as soon as the temperature hits 40 F.
